Exxxotica Sues the City of Dallas

One of the most fun adventures I had last year was tagging along with The Stockroom and their crew as we brought the Dungeon Experience to the attendee’s of Exxxotica. It was a busy weekend in Chicago and Dallas. Both cities brought amazing and open minded guests. Typically these conventions are full of lookie-loos who just want porn girls but the dungeon added a bit more spice to the mix and it was very well received.

Although Chicago went off without a hitch, a few days before landing in Dallas, we were informed of the protesters who were not happy we were arriving. I’m from the bible belt so I know how crazed those kind of protesters can be. It was a “hope for the best, prepare for the worst” kind of vibe. But when the convention started, it was more crowded than Chicago and the people were so into it, it was hard to believe they braved the protesters and camera crews to come in. I taught one class a day for three days and they were full. We also did one main stage show every day…also completely full! But honestly, it is no surprise that the “powers that be” decided it didn’t want Exxxotica back this year. Such a shame since it enlightened, educated and brought joy to so many people.
